Many may know, Others do not!

I am 30 weeks Pregnant!!! We are expecting our Second Daughter! No this was not planned but we are very excited and anxious for her arrival. Our Estimated Due Date is 11/11/11, however we have a C-section scheduled for 11/3/11.

We are very nervous about this baby. We worry that this baby will have NEHI like Alida, however we have faith that this baby will be born with no problems. The doctors are watching me and baby closely. We pray she stays put until our scheduled C-section. Here are a few pics of her from my last doctor visit (I was 26 weeks then!).

Please keep our baby girl in your prayers that she is born healthy and without NEHI or other problems.

Good Bye Cinder.

Yesterday we said goodbye to a family member. Cinder was taken to the vet after not "acting" herself for a few days. The vet found that Cinder had cancer on her spleen and liver. They offered us surgery and chemo but even with that they only gave her 3 months to live and said she had less than a 50% chance of making it thru surgery. This was the hardest thing we have ever had to do, but Aaron and I decided the best thing to do for Cinder was to let her go peacefully.

I know in my heart she is at peace and is no longer hurting, but the hurt that is in my heart and chest is so big I wish we could've waited a little longer. She was the best dog/friend/companion anyone could ever ask for. The world will be missing a GREAT soul. I wish life wasn't so unfair. I wish our furry kids could stay with us forever.

Cinder has gone through everything with us. She was 12 years old and saw us get married, have Alida and move more than 6 times. She stood by us in every triumph and victory and was there for me everytime Aaron had to leave. She has slept by my side for the last 12 years. Last night my bed never felt so big and empty. She will truly be missed.

Rest in peace Cinder. We love and miss you.

Summer Time Fun!

Since I just filled the water up today it was a little cold to "swim", but we practiced our 3pt shots!

Big Hitter!

Alida has always LOVED Curious George, especially the baseball book of Curious George. Today when we were at WalMart we walked down the sporting good aisle and Alida saw the baseball gear! She went CRAZY! So of course it was only natural to come home with some! She is a natural (okay she might need a little more practice!).

Happy 2nd Birthday Alida!!!

Two years ago on March 8 my life changed forever. Our sweet little Alida was born. I never knew being a Mom would change my life the way it has, but all the sleepless nights and unwashed hair is so worth having this Sweet little lady in my life. Your Mommy and Daddy Love you Alida!

I should have taken pictures before church and spending the day at the car dealership! She LOVES Curious George so seemed only right to have a Curious George Birthday Party.

As you can see the dogs even enjoy this game. Sometimes Tate even gets off the sofa and plays!



Alida loves it when Cinder plays with us, Cinder usually "pops" the balloon so now Alida yells "POP IT POP IT!!!" Until Cinder does eventually pops the balloon.
